Winter Educational Opportunities January – April, 2025
…choose your own dates to create the type of workshop that best fits your needs
“It seems like everything sleeps in winter, but it’s really a time of renewal and reflection.” — Elizabeth Camden
Stay engaged this winter! Learn something new. Perhaps polish up those rusty outdoor skills. If you don’t feel prepared to tackle a multi-day BWCAW canoe camping trip just yet, you may want to consider a WWD educational opportunity. We’d love to create the workshop that will best suit your needs.
Our workshop environment includes both indoor & outdoor hands-on learning. We’ll share proven methods, tips, and skills that can enhance your adventures, increase your comfort level, and help keep you safe. You’ll be able to fine tune your skill set for a better camping experience, summer or winter.
Workshops are conducted at Women’s Wilderness Discovery headquarters in Ely, MN and may include the Superior National Forest, and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
Workshop Pricing
$165 per person/per day for small group, hands-on instruction | additional material cost for snowshoe lacing workshops
$50 per night for our cozy, fully appointed Guest House, if needed. Advance reservation required.
