As a former wilderness guide, I rarely participate in guided adventures, and I am pretty particular about leadership.  That being said, Peta Barrett is awesome – professional, organized, attentive to detail and safety, sensitive to the needs of individuals, full of knowledge, and fun-loving.  Women’s Wilderness Discovery trips afford all levels of adventurers the comfort and challenge they desire.  Peta holds a pre-trip meeting during which participants set goals, determine the level of difficulty they desire and how much leisure time they want.  During your expedition, Peta will teach you anything you want to know from cooking and camping skills to paddling (or snowshoeing) to natural and human history.  I so enjoyed my first trip with Peta that the very next week, I joined her on another adventure!
